Week 2- Ansh
Thoughts on the Projects
Work on the final project has been very interesting. Coming up with the final idea has been challenging, while simultaneously encouraging creativity. Furthermore, my group decided to integrate the EKG which came with its own challenges such as researching how it works as well as finding the code for it. In my group making the EKG work has been the priority, but now that it works we're shifting our focus onto the final watch.
Week 3/Final Project
I'm looking forward to spending more time on the project next week. The idea behind the EKG is its designed for older people who are prone to seizures and having the EKG act as a way to alert a caretaker/family of the person. We wanted to add a buzzer to it whenever it detects an anomaly in muscle tension or the heart as a way to alert somebody. Alongside the EKG we want to have the watch act as a way to monitor vitals and tell the location of a person as well as how far it is from their home using the GPS, Bluetooth, as well as Pulse Oximeter.
Tour
The tour was fascinating for a variety of reasons. It was one of two cleanrooms in Houston and the machinery was all new to me making it very interesting. Getting the souvenir also added to the tour,
